On July 14th and 15th a dental consultant by the name of Larry Gazzardo came to work with our team. What we learned is that even a mature dental office needs to work “on the practice” as well as “in the practice”. So many aspects of dentistry is evolving at a such a rapid rate, it is important for the team to have time to get ready and create implementation strategies. Larry did an amazing job bringing the team together, help improve our internal communication skills, and create systems to care for our patient’s even better.
One of the the most important aspects of Larry’s training, is he had us do random surveys of our patients of record. For those patients who took the time to fill one out, we want to thank you! In order to continuously improve, we need to know what we are doing well, and what we need to improve on. It was a tremendous opportunity to work with someone knowledgeable, like Larry, and create a plan directly related to improving our patient’s satisfaction.
We look forward to Larry’s return in the fall. As we move forward we will be focusing on optimum scheduling techniques to stay on time, and to do our best work. Solving complex functional-esthetic problems is difficult business. Having systems in place for all parts of our practice, makes the difficult work predictable, rewarding and fun. Our team wants to personally thank Larry for spending two great days with us. We look forward to your return! For our patients we look forward to showing you how we can serve you even better.
